Mid Suffolk DC's Green leader has warned devolution deals for Suffolk and Norfolk could lead to policy ‘gridlock' after the party won its first-ever majority.

Andy Mellen argued plans for new directly-elected leaders as part of the devolution deals for the counties could lead to a politician from a different party being elected to run the councils despite the chambers still being dominated by the Conservatives.
