Midlothian boss to move to Falkirk

Midlothian Council chief executive Kenneth Lawrie will start as Falkirk Council’s new boss at the start of August.

Midlothian Council chief executive Kenneth Lawrie will start as Falkirk Council's new boss at the start of August.

Mr Lawrie, who joined local government in 1994 and has held various positions at Dartford BC and Scottish Borders Council, will replace retiring chief executive Mary Pitcaithly.
