Labour leader Ed Miliband has reiterated his party's commitment to developing a next generation of new towns to help solve London's housing crisis.

Writing in the Evening Standard yesterday, Mr Miliband said the high costs and lack of suitable housing for skilled employers was causing deep difficulty for public and private sector employers, and imperilling the capital's position as a world business centre.
