Labour leader Ed Miliband has apologised for his party’s failure to tackle child sexual exploitation in Rotherham.

Labour leader Ed Miliband has apologised for his party's failure to tackle child sexual exploitation in Rotherham.

Mr Miliband said he was ‘deeply sorry' for what happened in the town after a report by Professor Alexis Jay last year found at least 1,400 children were abused from 1997 to 2013, when Labour was in charge of Rotherham MBC.
