Labour leader Ed Miliband has criticised ministers for their 'high-handed and arrogant' approach to the public sector.

Speaking at the Local Government Association conference, Mr Miliband said today's strike over public sector pensions and cutbacks was a 'failure on both sides' and slammed ministers for criticising councils.
