Care minster Caroline Dinenage has said she 'would dearly like there to be cross-party consensus' on funding for social care.

Care minster Caroline Dinenage has said she 'would dearly like there to be cross-party consensus' on funding for social care.

She told delegates at today's Association of Directors of  Adult Social Services (ADASS) Spring Seminar in Staffordshire that the most recent debates about funding had been characterised by 'deeply unhelpful language about death taxes and a dementia tax'.
