Minister unveils £1.4m grant to support carers

The Government has launched a £1.39m fund to support local projects across the country which help support carers.

The Government has launched a £1.39m fund to support local projects across the country which help support carers.

Care services minister, Paul Burstow, said the money would help 79 projects, which helped identify and support carers. The projects include one in Derby Headway, which identifies people who have been unexpectedly thrown into a caring role.
