Ministers accused of 'NIMBYism'

Senior ministers have been accused of hypocrisy over their reforms of planning regulations.

Senior ministers have been accused of hypocrisy over their reforms of planning regulations after it emerged they refused to back developments in their own constituencies and have worked closely with property developers.

The Conservative Party received a total of £3.3m from property developers over the last 3 years and planning minister Greg Clark reportedly sent an email to the British Property Federation, urging them to lobby David Cameron over the plans.
