More than a hundred local authorities have received a share of an £89.4m cashpot which aims to deliver nearly a billion pounds of long-term benefits.

The winners of the latest round of the Government's Transformation Challenge Award include projects to improve the health, education and work prospects of local residents and reduce demands on public services.
