Ministers praise South East's improvement and growth bodies

Councils in the South East can seek the expertise of an improvement and efficiency partnership which is a local authority owned mutual.

Councils in the South East of England will be able to tap into the expertise of the country's first improvement and efficiency partnership to become a local authority owned mutual.

Created from the South East improvement and efficiency partnership, iESE will help councils and local public service bodies manage through continued financial austerity. While some services will be free, the not-for-profit company will charge fees based on efficiency savings to fund its running costs.
