Ministers are set to launch a recruitment drive for a chief executive and ‘full advisory board' for the new local government watchdog.

The Office for Local Government (Oflog) has already recruited former National Audit Office chairman Sir Amyas Morse as its chairman, but will now hire a chief, local government minister Lee Rowley has said.
