Ministers have been urged to inject £3.2bn over the next three years into the West Midlands economy to offset the impact of the pandemic.

Arguing that the region has been hit harder than others from the coronavirus lockdown West Midlands' political, business, and trade union leaders have collectively drawn up an investment plan for transport, training, housing and direct funding in three key areas, green technology, culture and tourism and healthcare innovation.
