The MJ 's award entries break all records

The number of entries for The MJ Achievement Awards 2007 has broken all previous records, and plans are under way for the gala awards night in London in June.
There are 15 categories, and judges are now examining entries to produce a shortlist of finalists, as well as commended. These will be announced in the finalists' brochure appearing in The MJ, 29 March. The gala awards night takes place at the Hilton, Park Lane, on 28 June, and will be hosted by BBC news broadcaster, Andrew Marr.
Inquiries about booking tables should be made to Debbie Keogh on 01689 897228.

Coming soon: The MJ awards will soon have its own dedicated section on www.localgov.co.uk where you will be able to find out how to get involved and find out what it takes to be a winner.
