Yvonne Rees has been confirmed by councillors as interim chief executive of Mole Valley DC for a further year, extending her secondment from Surrey CC until March 2014.

She took over in September following the departure of Darren Mepham.Ms Rees is also strategic director of Surrey CC and will hold both jobs while earning one salary (see profile in The MJ, 10 Jan).
