Diary was pleased to hear of the new civic building in Colwyn Bay, built to house the 780 staff of Conwy CBC.

It's lucky that the blueprints of the main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland did not get mixed up with those from another project the firm was recently involved in - the chimpanzee enclosure at Twycross Zoo.
