Most people 'are still happy with councils'

A new survey has suggested public satisfaction with local councils has fallen only slightly over the past few months.

Public satisfaction with local councils has fallen slightly over the past few months, but remains significantly higher than during last year's winter roads crisis, a new survey has suggested.

A study by LG Insight and pollster, Populus, published this week, reveals that the national average score for public satisfaction with councils currently stands at 70%.
