Most public sector workers given a pay freeze

Most public sector workers have been given a pay freeze, according to a new survey by the CIPD.

More than three quarters of public sector workers have been given a pay freeze, according to a new survey by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

The CIPD's summer 2011 Employee Outlook report revealed that 77% of public sector workers have had their pay frozen, four per cent have been given a pay cut and 13% a pay increase.
