MPs call for homes investigation

MPs and peers call for an urgent investigation into children's homes after claiming the current system is not fit for purpose.

MPs and peers have called for an urgent investigation into children's homes after claiming the current system is not fit for purpose.

A report jointly published today by the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for runaway and missing children and adults and the APPG for looked-after children and care leavers, claims homes in England are failing to protect children who run away or go missing.
