MPs call for revamp of finance figures

MPs have written to communities secretary Greg Clark to fight the case for county councils in the wake of the finance settlement.

MPs have written to Communities secretary Greg Clark to fight the case for county councils in the wake of the finance settlement. 

In it's official response to the consultation on the local government finance settlement, the County Councils Network (CCN) warns funding reductions will have ‘severe consequences for local services'.
