MPs' warning on crisis loans

Ministers must act on crisis loans, MPs have demanded this week.

Welfare ministers should either provide sufficient funding to cover localised emergency benefits payment schemes or the Department for Communities and Local Government must increase the local government settlement to cover forecast demand for crisis loans, MPs have demanded this week.
