The recent Munro Review on children's services has lead to a surge in demand for consultants, while the demand for other staff has dropped significantly, according to recruitment consultants Badenoch and Clark.

The consultants said in their latest market report there was an increased demand for external consultants to report on the state of front line children's services, following the Munro Review.
