At last we have a review that provides a set of recommendations for change that respond to the complex nature of child protection. It suggests an examination of both the professional task and the actual systems in place for working with children, as well as how to learn from mistakes and track performance of individuals, teams and organisations. This type of change is no easy task. It requires a change in hearts and minds and in values and beliefs.
