MPs believe there is enormous potential in the future of public service mutuals, but they want the Government and the Cabinet Office to do more to encourage the initiative, says Dermott Calpin.

More Government support and a clearer sense of direction are needed to help realise the potential of setting up public service mutuals, according to an all party group of MPs.
