A report by the National Audit Office has blamed delays on three waste PFI deals on a range of factors.

A report by the National Audit Office has blamed delays on three waste PFI deals on difficulties obtaining planning permission, opposition from local groups and uncertainty over new technology.

The report, which was published on 17 June, examined three separate deals by Surrey CC, Norfolk CC and a joint bid by Herefordshire and Worcestershire CC.
