The next government should introduce a national strategy to ensure councils work to prevent mental health problems developing, charity Mind has urged.

The next government should introduce a national strategy to ensure councils work to prevent mental health problems developing, charity Mind has urged.

Mind made the call after finding that local authorities in England spend an average of 1.36 per cent of their public health budget on mental health.
