Neill makes radio defence of Coalition CTB plans

Local government minister, Bob Neill, today took to the airwaves defending Coalition plans to localise council tax benefit (CTB).

Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Today programme, Mr Neill sought to refute claims made by Labour peer, Baroness Hollis, that the welfare reforms - which take effect next April - would create an unfair ‘postcode lottery'.
