Neill urges councils to freeze tax

Bob Neill has written to council leaders in England, urging them to freeze council tax for another year.

Bob Neill has written to all council leaders in England, urging them to freeze council tax for another year and take advantage of the extra funding on offer.

According to information released by the Department for Communities and Local Government on 13 February, more than 200 local authorities have pledged to keep council tax at current levels for 2012/13.
