Net zero pathway in Essex

Thomas Day hopes working with Community Energy South through its Pathways Programme can help drive the change needed to turn Essex into a net zero county.

Our goal is to create a more resilient natural environment and more skilled jobs as part of our move to a ‘greener' and more sustainable economy across Essex.

Last year, we took on board the recommendations of the Essex Climate Action Commission (ECAC) – an independent and cross-party body – to support its overarching vision for the county to be net zero by 2050 and published our own £200m, four-year climate action plan.
