A new network to encourage councils to think more about how they can create value has been hailed as a ‘huge step forward'.

The public sector pioneer network aims to promote the sector's implementation of integrated reporting (IR), which encourages the production of a concise document about how an organisation's strategy, governance, performance and prospects in the context of its external environment lead to the creation of value.
