A new special interest group for unitaries will be the ‘eyes and ears' for all single-tier authorities, according to the leader of Bracknell Forest Council.

Speaking to The MJ, Cllr Paul Bettison said 20 councils have now said they will sign up to the Unitary Councils Network, which was approved by the Local Government Association's (LGA) leadership board last month.
