Last week The MJ reported that Newham LBC led a historic bid to reduce the maximum stakes on B2 fixed odds betting terminals from £100 to £2. 

It was the largest ever submission under the Sustainable Communities Act with 93 cross-party local authorities - a remarkable act of collaboration and localism.
