The number of managers and senior managers in the NHS has fallen by more than 2,700, according to latest government statistics.

The number of managers and senior managers in the NHS has fallen by more than 2,700, according to latest government statistics.

The workforce census, which was published by the NHS Information Centre, revealed that the number of managers dropped by 2,770 between September 2009 and September 2010.
