Ex-NHS chief takes up top Welsh health post

The Welsh Government has appointed a former NHS chief executive, Dr Andrew Goodall, to lead health and social care.

The Welsh Government has appointed a former NHS chief executive, Dr Andrew Goodall, to lead health and social care.

Dr Goodall has worked for the NHS for 23 years, including nine as a chief executive, and will head the Welsh Government's Department for Health and Social Services.
