The NHS Confederation has backed the idea of healthcare reforms, but called for a significant overhaul of the Government's current plans.

In the healthcare organisation's submission to the Government's listening exercise on the Health and Social Care Bill, it accepted the case for reform, but said the current plans were not'sufficiently focused'on the problems facing the NHS.
