NHS faces 'financial crisis', claims King's Fund

The National Health Service (NHS) will need a significant boost to its funding in order to prevent a financial crisis, a health think tank has claimed.

 The National Health Service (NHS) will need a significant boost to its funding in order to prevent a financial crisis, a health think tank has claimed.

 While it claims there have been efficiencies in the NHS, it claims the main levers for cost reduction – such as holding down salaries and cutting management costs – have been exhausted.
