Health experts have challenged the Government's social care reforms and warned of long-term damage to the NHS.

Medical professionals, including the NHS Confederation, the British Medical Association, the Royal College of Nursing, the Faculty of Public Health and others warned health secretary Andrew Lansley's reforms were ‘extraordinarily risky'.
