The Northern Ireland Local Government Association (NILGA) has announced the appointment of Cllr Sean McGuigan, of Dungannon and South Tyrone BC, as new regional governance group chair of the Improvement, Collaboration and Efficiency (ICE) Programme.

The ICE programme is an all-council initiative designed and led by local government to support councils as they strive to deliver cost-effective, quality services in an increasingly challenging economic environment.
