Norfolk CC has accused environment secretary, Caroline Spelman, of putting the future of several waste PFI projects in doubt, by withholding credits for a £500m scheme.

The county criticised Ms Spelman after the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) decided to withhold credits because of concerns about the large number of objections to the scheme in King's Lynn.
