Norfolk plant 'buried' after DCLG's delays

Norfolk CC has accused the Department for Communities and Local Government of sitting on a Planning Inspectorate report into the abandoned Willows energy-from-waste plant, which actually ruled in favour of the project.

Norfolk CC has accused the Department for Communities and Local Government of sitting on a Planning Inspectorate report into the abandoned Willows energy-from-waste plant, which actually ruled in favour of the project.

A planning inquiry into the proposed plant was held in the spring of 2013 and the inspectorate's final report was delivered to communities secretary Eric Pickles on 30 September that year.
