Norfolk CC has been told by the Government that it should explore a joint mayoral devolution proposal with Suffolk if it wants a level three deal.

The council's leader Kay Mason Billig has been in fresh talks with the new Government after Labour ministers last month scrapped the directly-elected county leader devolution deals agreed with the Conservatives.
