Training for finance graduates will be co-operatively funded by a number of Nottinghamshire public services in a scheme overseen by the county council.

Chief finance officers of Nottinghamshire CC, district councils, Nottingham police authority and Nottinghamshire fire and rescue services will contribute money towards the students' CIPFA accountants training, allowing the bodies to hire one of the graduates once training is completed.
