Tim Malynn corporate director of communities at Nottinghamshire CC, has taken early retirement, in order to enable a restructuring of the council.

During a career which has spanned 37 years, Mr Malynn held senior positions at councils in Luton, Norfolk, and Bedfordshire, as well as a period working in the private sector with construction giant, Balfour Beatty.
