Yorkshire and Humber Trading Standards has condemned rogue traders who ripped off elderly people by selling mobility aids – designed to help the vulnerable live at home – they could not use.

Two directors of Compass Mobility were sentenced to five years in prison at Leeds Crown Court last week, and banned from being company directors following a series of offences.
