Children are going missing from schools in Birmingham and Tower Hamlets without any record of their destination, inspectors have warned.

Ofsted chief Sir Michael Wilshaw said this was a ‘serious safeguarding issue' after inspectors made follow-up visits after the so-called Trojan Horse plot.
