Ofsted chief inspector set to be appointed

Education secretary Gillian Keegan has announced she is recommending Sir Martyn Oliver for the post of chief inspector of education, children’s services and skills at Ofsted.

Education secretary Gillian Keegan has announced she is recommending Sir Martyn Oliver for the post of chief inspector of education, children's services and skills at Ofsted.

Sir Martyn was knighted in 2022 for improving services to education and is currently chief executive of Outwood Grange Academies Trust.
