Kingston upon Thames RLBC has become the second local authority to see its children's services jump from ‘inadequate' to ‘good' in back-to-back assessments.

An Ofsted report on the south-west London borough, published on 3 August, reveals that Kingston has repeated the feat achieved by Cambridgeshire CC last year.
