Olympic boroughs 'need clear legacy plan '

A leading think tank has reported east London borough's won't secure the full legacy from the Olympic Games.

East London boroughs won't secure the full legacy benefits from the Olympic Games unless regeneration chiefs stick to a clear and consistent plan, a leading think tank has reported.

Entitled 'A marathon not a sprint', the Centre for Cities report urges the Government, Mayor of London and London Legacy Development Corporation to work with the Olympic boroughs in planning and committing to a long-term post-Games strategy.
