The Olympics Games are supported by 70,000 volunteers, including 8,000 'ambassadors', taken on by City Hall to help visitors to London. The MJ's editorial director Michael Burton is one of them, and describes the experience.

Visitors to London during August will notice the capital sprinkled with men and women of all ages and races in uniforms, bearing the Olympic colours and logos.
