The role

We want you to revolutionise frontline enforcement in Thanet by developing a new approach to integrated service delivery with our partners.  The aim is to deliver a genuine step change in behaviours affecting the public realm – crucial in a tourist focused economy like ours, as well as a key issue for local residents.

The remit includes re-engineering our parking service and raising performance whilst improving public perception. You will also lead on efforts in waste, littering, dog fouling and fly-tipping enforcement, working with environmental education resources. It's an opportunity to apply your understanding of communications and the psychology of behaviours to make a visible impact that will be valued by the council and residents alike.
