Chancellor, George Osborne, today confirmed Government plans to extend the council tax freeze into a third successive year.

Chancellor, George Osborne, today confirmed Government plans to extend the council tax freeze into a third successive year.

Mr Osborne pledged £450m support would be allocated to English local authorities in 2013/14 to extend the freeze into a third year – a deal 85% of councils accepted last year.
